Good Morning,
Dick's Sporting Goods has gone through a few restructurings of its secondary lines of stores, selling a good number of their "Field & Stream" outdoors/hunting stores to Sportsman's Warehouse, and converting a growing number of those remaining into "Public Lands" outdoors stores. We have a just-converted Field & Stream, now a Public Lands, just across the street from my closest REI. The Public Lands website and stores are emblazoned with the banner, "WE EXIST TO CELEBRATE AND PROTECT PUBLIC LANDS". I guess their commitment to donate one percent to projects technically satisfies that creed, but it's sort of ironic to see them touting that with a co-op across the street.
Take Care,
Tim
