    Default D&SNGRR Crew Help Rescue Injured Hiker

    Injured Colorado hiker missing for 2 nights rescued after train passenger spots her on riverbank


    Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad crew member Kylah Breeden crossed river to aid hiker.

    The story is available at several national news sites. Probably in the Durango Herald tonight. (10-17-22)

    Yup.. Story date in Herald is Oct 11... I just didn't go back far enough!

    She must have been and inexperience, rookie hiker not to be carrying emergency supplies with her. A good case for carrying a personal locator device regardless of the planned length of the hike.
