Default Double wall tent condensation/dewpoint also car camping double wall

Thinking about picking up an old thinnish type nylon tent keeping the front door and and back window open with gappy mesh. And covering it with a lite mil poly tarp. Total weight a hair over 2lbs
I have done a lot of tarp camping. picked up a blue tarp on a long distance thru once and not once got enough spray or condensation to become more than 15 minutes in the sun drying lucky irritated, even drying 3 days later.

On days you had heavier condensation in your dyneema or other 2 walled tent.
What is its most common actions?Have you found conditions where it hung to the mesh more?

Also considering sheets or mesh inside the car camper. Thoughts?

And any simple guidelines to work and work around the dew point. And help understand.

There is not much you can do about the dew point, thats Physics describing a nature's law.
You can provide some measures to work arund condensation, though:
One thing you need to know is that during the night the open sky is much colder in relation to the earth and all natural objects, so during the night all faces of objects exposed to the open sky are losing more warmth and thus are prone to condensation, dew or even frost.
So hiding the tent under a tree or any roof or other object covering it against the sky, will give you the best help against condensation.
The next thing boosting condensation is, water vapor developing and collecting inside the tent.
You may lower the amount of vapor inside by keeping the rainfly and the tent doors open on both sides. But then, this might make it for a cold night for you.
