    a completely enthusiastic endorsement:

I agree, the downsides is cost and packaging. If you cut open the tube after you think its squeezed out, there is still quite a bit of product left over inside.

I saw it in CVS pharmacy , check with REI, or Eastern mountain sports (EMS) Another good choice is Burts bee ointment.

Gold Bond also sells a product called Friction Defense that is basically indistinguishable from Body Glide. Regardless of the brand you choose, it can be a huge help when you really need it.

Advice from a friend, be careful in the dark.

Spray and Wash stain stick is the same size and shape as a large Body Glide stick.

I carry the Body Glide Speed Stick, just put some on your TP (or in my case, I carry napkins, easier to use just one or 2 and to store as well) The speed stick works well for me.

    Baby rash desitin

Lady solemate runs ultras and this is what she swears by

Apparently it’s what most ultra people wear.

After 50 miles body glide will leave you bleeding. I’ve seen it, it’s nasty. Desiring does the trick

Body Glide in stick form is great for helping to prevent blisters on the feet. I apply it before I start the day and usually again at lunch when I generally take a shoe's off break.

I second the Gold Bond brand.
