Darn Tough Factory Sale 2023

The big Darn Tough Factory Sale is this weekend in Northfield VT both Saturday and Sunday. It was cancelled for a few years due to Covid. For those not familiar with the sale, they close the factory down and sell both new and seconds of their socks for a very steep markdown. No lifetime guarantees on the seconds but worth the price. They also normally have bags of Darn Tough socks they make for the military. The military versions usually have a slightly higher synthetic blend but last even longer, it's hard to beat their winter grade socks, that I use all winter. If you can even find them through resellers, they sell for $30 bucks a pair. A bag of 6 pairs of seconds (usually a mixed row of stitching) sells for around $18 dollars.

It is quite an event, thousands of Vermont folks will get in line over the course of a weekend to buy socks for their families and friends. No mail order or internet sales.
