I have a large gap from Swatara Gap to Hwy 17A in NY; about 190 miles. Planned to do it spring of 2025 as I am committed to a VA hike this spring. I am always looking for a 10-18 mile average per day type. Does that blend with anyone else's plans?

OK, so Swatara Gap to Hwy 17A for me, anywhere from 21 April to 15 May 2025. Anyone out there in the hikerverse looking to conquer Rocksylvannia? I am 71 years old but still look for 10-20 miles per day, depending on terrain. This is a gap for me, so my start and end points are defined. However, we can also intercept each other if you all have other needs. If anything, I am flexible.

I'll vouch for Packbacker. I've done two 100+ mile AT sections with him. He's a good trail companion. And yes, he's a Cheesehead!

Actually a displaced Cheesehead who settled in GA. But once a Packbacker . . .
