Default Fry Shelter (formerly Tagg Run)

Does anyone know the condition of the spring at the shelter? I'm heading there this weekend.

I'd like to know what you find out. I'm heading out in about a week. The guide book says there's a spring, then says don't drink the water from Tagg Run. I'm assuming the water from the spring is fine, especially if treated, but I'd like some clarity.

The spring at Fry is dry, as is typical by this time of the year, so you'll have to use Tagg Run. Like any gound water, it should be treated or filtered.
