    Default Current Trail Conditions Forum?

I'm wondering if members of Whiteblaze would find a forum for reporting current trail conditions useful? It could be organized by state or section and hikers could add commentary when they return from hiking or review it before they head out...Having info about snow, ice, blowdowns, temporary closures and so forth would be very helpful...

    Whadaya think?

    Is this do-able, Sarge?

    Default New England trail conditions

If you're looking for trail conditions in New England, there is already a dedicated site:

    http://www.viewsfromthetop.com

Each New England state has a trail conditions area where hikers report. Typically there will be
a couple dozen report of NH trail condtions every weekend, considerably less for the other states. This includes all trails, not just the AT, but sections of the AT will be reported (though you might need to know the real name of the trail, ie. Liberty Springs Trail, Fishin' Jimmy, etc.).
