AAA Lithium Batteries - Where to find?

Does anyone make AAA Lithium batteries? I can't seem to find any in my recent outing to Target or KMart.

Im pretty sure that they are not (yet) being made. But im hoping that they will make them soon.

Haven't seen them yet. I hope someone says something other than this. However, if you are talking about use for an LED headlamp, they last so long the Li batteries are not even necessary.

But what about cold temps? Alkaline batteries voltage output drops dramaticcally below freezeing. Li batteries are fine down to -40F. Plus they are lighter.

I have tested the effects of cold weather of Alkaline batteries. I have one of those sensor night lights in my bathroom, and with brand new alkaline batteries at room temperature, my Princeton tec aurora "turned it off" at 13ft, 7in. After putting it in the freezer for 4 days, it turned it off at 13ft,5in. Not totally scientific, but evidence none the less.

Not much of a differenece. I have an outdoor radio thermometer that just stops transmitting below 25F. I can always read the display, but until it warms above 25F, the indoor receiver doesn't show a temp from the outdoor sensor.

I think this is why all of the newer outdoor sensors just use AA instead of AAA. Guess I need an upgrade.

I was hoping for Lithiums for my both my headlamp and mp3 player. I think they are significantly lighter? I guess the old standby will have to do.

One of the things that lithiums are known for is not only are they a little lighter, but they last 3 times as long. So putting AA Lith's in your weather radio might last u 2 months or so.
