Northern Terminus of BMT...

Hi,
Does anyone have directions to the Northern Terminus of the BMT? I'm looking to get dropped off there and hike south to Springer Mountain but I'm not able to find any directions to the Davenport Gap area.

From I-40 west in Tennessee take exit 451.
-Turn/bear left(west) on Green Corner Rd. Road name changes to Waterville rd.
-Go .1 mile and turn left/west on Tobes Creek rd.
-Go .9 mile and turn left on Pine Hill Way.
-Go .4 mile and turn left on SR 32. Look for Davenport Gap within a mile.

At least that's what Streets and Trips says.

To all who consider hiking from Davenport Gap. Don't park at the trailhead! There is an NPS Ranger Station about a mile away where you can safely park your car - for free. Do yourself a favor and park there.
