Not going to post what I did last time. But maybe, Warren, the reason the original post was deleted was because you patronized someone's death. By comparing the death of my friend Packstock to a reference to banjo music in the obstacle course, I think you may have pushed the envelope of bad taste. Although you live in the south and the reference to banjo music may offend you, it's an almost universal (at least in the U.S.) reference that wasn't started at some hiker feed. I used to tell people that my conversation at the Place last year with you was one of the things that kept me on the trail. In truth it was, and I thank you for that. But because of your incredible insensative remarks, I have lost all respect for you. As someone who is an AT "legend" maybe you should consider your remarks a little more before you type them up.
