Can anyone tell me if there is water / tenting in Bloodroot Gap? This is between David Logan Shelter and Sunrise Shelter. Sunrise shelter is too close to the road so I need to find another option.

I hiked in this area Memorial Day weekend and I don't recall there being any water in the area, but I probably wasn't looking for it either because I stayed at David Logan. Bloodroot Gap has a snowmobile trail running through so you could definitely find a spot to pitch a tent. (If it's not actually at the gap, it's just north of it.) There were a few other areas along the way with obvious signs people had camped in the area... though I'm not sure they were legal sites or not.

You could find a dry and shady spot on the snow machine trail at Bloodroot Gap. In June 2017 the spring about 0.2 miles south was flowing nicely. Look for a 100-foot wide treeless swathe crossing the LT.
Thanks for the update poxo! Will keep my eye out for the spring when I pass through in a couple weeks.
