Lightbulb "B-Town Chow Down" in Bennington, VT, July 11, 2006

Here's a link to the placard for the "B-Town Chow Down," free to hikers on July 11, 2006 in Bennington, VT. Received this from my friend, Arla (Gypsy Dancer), who along with her family made their detached two-story garage into an impromptu hiker hostel in Bennington the last two years after they took in my daughter Grass and her hiking partner Uncle Ben in 2004 and enjoyed it so much. They just had a big impromptu July 4th hikers gathering of about thirty hikers. Anyway, thought hikers in the area might like to know about the "B-TOWN CHOW DOWN" too.

LOL, I read the announcement three times, checked for the space in your name, and considered maybe Grass had posted on your account.

    Sounds like a good time!

No. It be me! Grass has her own account, though I don't know how often she uses it.

And yes, it looks as if the folks in Bennington are trying to start something. I figured hikers would like to know, since it says "FREE food and beer"!!! LOL

Someone should take photos and post a report.
