    Default shelters who needs them

    most people here on whiteblaze prefer shelters,they hate tenting in the rain,i thouhgt carrying a tent was to keep you dry anyway,i prefer the hammock and tarp combo,its easy,its light,its more peaceful,no crowds
    i think shelter are ont needed on any trail.

    My answer isn't there. My thoughts are comparable to the old saying "Heaven for climate; Hell for company". Shelters for meals and socializing; The great outdoors for everything else I backpack to enjoy
