Trail Angels

Thanks to trail angel, Apple who provided 130 hikers with lots of comfort when he set up his blue tent at USFS-69. We got there when he was packing up after 8 days of serving hot dogs, handing out water, pop and providing some hikers with a place to sleep. Even though he was tired and getting ready to leave, he gave us water, peanut butter cups, the wood for our fire and his camping place, which by the way was a very sweet spot to camp. Thanks, Apple. Thanks for the kind words. It was tough coming back to work after a week up near Wayah Bald. I agree that was a nice place to camp. Let me know how it goes! You got pounded the next day with snow, right??
