    Default Devils Marble Yard, Va

In between Matts Creek Shelter and Thunder Ridge. A short blue blaze on the Belfast Trail. A very unique and awesome place. Eight acres of bouldering.

Like Blue Jay said, I would say yes. If you like to rock scramble. You'll love this place. And you can't just walk up them, you have to plan your moves or you'll end up at a place where you'll have to back track and go another route. If you go from the Trail head, It's only about an hour walk up a very easy trail. The trail is called the Belfast trail in Arnold's Valley. George Washington National forest I believe. I can email you a map if you'd like. This connects into the AT on the ridge south of the Matts Creek Shelter.

If you climb around the edge of the slide up to the top, you'll come to a very impressive overlook on the edge a cliff left over after the rocks fell. It's not a marked trail but if look around you'll find it. Have you been there Blue Jay?

I used to frequent the place when i lived in blacksburg va...cool spot to be in the late afternoon with dozens of vultures riding thermals all around you,so close you could see their beady little eyes.very neat experience.
