YUP ...sure is. Has a new owner. It's actually closer to the trail crossing than Hiker's Paradise. It's located at the intersection of Rt 2 and Rt 16 (which is the road that runs down along the Whites). There is contact info in both the Thru-Hikers Handbook and the ALDHA Companion.

having stayed several nights at both the barn and hikers paradise over the years, i recommend staying at the barn. it's more hiker-friendly, better atmosphere, and not run by bruno & maryann, whose taste for hikers has soured over the years.

I stopped and did my laundry at the Barn last year. The owner was friendly and the place was well equipped... I ended up staying at the Royalty Inn though.
