    Default Pack for girlfriend

Hey all, I would appreciate a little female advice, so what better place to ask. I have all my own equipment together and Most of my girlfriends but she doesnt have a pack yet. So i wanted to suprise her and get one. Only thing is im not very good at that kind of stuff because she is picky! I looked at osprey aura's with her, which is about the perfect size and she didnt like them (though i swear only because she didnt like the color) I dont think she should have to carry anything much for than 3000 ci. And she kept saying she wanted one that was pink or purple, but I know of no such pack. Maybe you ladies can help me with some suggestions, I would really appreciate it!

A backpack is something that you really have to try on and have fitted to your body, the better suprise would be to take her to get a pack. I have the gregory deva 60 it comes in a blue (which i have) and a maroonish color, its a little pricy, but a great pack. And i think some of their other packs some in rose, red and rouge http://www.gregorypacks.com/seriesin...iesName=womens

The Gregory Tega, which I have, comes in a dusty rose color - mine's blue. I highly recommend the pack, but I second what Hana said, you do not want to try to surprise her with an actual pack - a shopping trip to get one (lots of brownie points for this option), or a gift certificate, but not the pack - even more so since you said she's 'particular'. She really needs to try it out in the store with weight, etc., etc.
