    Default Ur Sack

Has anyone had experience with a UR Sack. It is an alternative to caching your food in a tree. You lash this bag to the base of a tree, and apparently the material is strong enough that a bear can not get to your food. I have great difficulty getting the rope over a high branch and am thinking of going this route.

I have one, but I've onlt taken it out once. I like it so far. The material is very tough. I can believe that it does what it says. It also holds a lot - I don't think I'll have a problem fitting five days worth of food in it. The only downside that I've found so far is that it's a lot heavier than a nylon sack. Ok, two downsides - it's really stiff, so it can be a pain to squish into a pack.
