    Default Ouachita National Forest

I did a section of the AT in the spring, but being from TX, its a long haul to get back there again this year. I am looking to hike a section of the 235 mile trail in the Ouachita National Forest. I will be hiking a section that has shelters like on the AT. Start the hike on the Sunday AFTER Thanksgiving north of Hot Springs, AR and hiking for 4 days. If you are interested, let me know.

That's in Arkansas right? Well that place is full of quartz crystals, tungsten and a whole slew of other minerals. Springs of the purest flow freely in the hills there too.............
