yeah matty, call a limo company...see what they say about a one way...that is actually a really good idea. if not limo, at least town car.

i tried to talk to the wife this morning after i saw you were still looking. she told me that if that is how I want to spend my Saturday night off, that is fine with her. Translated, that means I am not able to give you a ride.

Default With apologies to Johnny Cash

    I hear that Amtrak comin'
    It's rollin' 'round the bend,
    And I ain't seen Minnesota,
    Since, I don't know when,
    I'm stuck in Downtown Philly,
    And time keeps draggin' on,
    But that train keeps a-rollin',
That train that I'm not on

When I was just a baby,
    My Mama told me, "Matt,
    Always be a good boy,
    Don't ever play with guns,"
But I shot an IRS Agent,
    Just to watch him die,
When I hear that whistle blowin',
I hang my head and cry.

I bet there's rich folks eatin',
    In downtown Kent, C T,
    They're probably drinkin' coffee,
    And smokin' big cigars,
    But I know I won't be comin',
    I know I can't get there,
    But my buddy keep a-movin',
    And that's what tortures me.

Well, if they freed me from this city,
If that railroad train was mine,
I bet I'd move out over a little,
    Farther down the line,
    Far from downtown Philly,
That's where I want to stay,
And I'd let that lonesome whistle,
    Blow my Blues away.

I finally fell for the "Jerry Lewis" act. Told him at 7:00 AM today that I would take him (for free) as long as he could get to somewhere in North Jersey or Southern NY.

He checked and found that the only way to do that is thru Penn Station or The Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.

Seems like "Country Matt" is a little intimidated by NYC.

He could have taken Amtrak to Newark - like I suggested yesterday. I used to travel from Newark to Philly on the train weekly.

I agree though. He seems to have an aversion to NYC. Too bad. It's one of the best & safest cities in the US.

PA Terminal is a great place to be at 4 A.M. A real slice-o-life. I somehow fit right in...
    Just hike.
