    Default Class of 2008 forum?

When will y'all be adding a class of 2008 forum? I've decided on a 2008 NOBO and would like to go ahead and start meeting some of my classmates.

Default 2008 is likely to be a heck of a year for NOBO crowds...

With the Paul Newman/Robert Redford movie about Bill Bryson's "I hiked [ON] the Appalachian Trail" book expected to come out late this year. I doubt there'll be much change north of Kincora, but hoo boy, Georgia in March and early April 2008...

This is one for Attroll to answer I'm afraid. I don't remember when he usually adds the new "Class of..." forums. Sorry.

Eh, makes for more reasons to dodge the shelters...

Amazonwoman, I am currently planning on an '08 attempt. Using this year to finish saving up funds and complete my gear collection for the long walk. Feel free to PM me anytime, would love suggestions on how you are planning also.

Whoo 2008. Sounds like fun. If I dont have anything better to do I might go out and hike it. At least I will have a reason for buying a new backpack yesterday.

I am semi-seriously thinking of doing a NoBo hike in 2008. It will be the 10th year anniverssary of my AT thru-hike back in the dark ages of 1998.

A large section hike from Greylock to Katahdin being considered, too. Has been too long since I've done some extended eastern hiking!

All depends on my finances and state of employment at the time.

Of course, I am only two months off of my last thru-hike and missing the trail terriby. Who knows what 1.5 yrs from now can bring!

I'll be finishing my hike in summer 2008.
Got to DWG in `06, going from DWG to Big K starting mid- May of `08.

I just keep having that feeling that I'm forgetting something and then it hit me.... I forgot to finish!

I'm southbound in June of 2008, too! (God willing and the Creek don't rise.)

SOBO starting in June 2008. Gonna be tough walking past my house just before hitting VT. My friends are gonna throw me a big BBQ that day. I live in the Whites so it oughta be fun.

Looks like the Pack is going to be southbound. Works for me. Going NOBO due to time constraints and more work in the winter in my line of business. I can get 7 months starting in march, not so much later in the year. Catch ya all in VT or something.
