Best Way Harpers Ferry to Amicalola

My partner is getting off the trail at Harpers Ferry. We're leaving a car at Amicalola. What's the best way to get back down south. Bus? Train?

I'd suggest catching a commuter train to DC, and then overnight train to Gainesville. Have Josh or Liegh (Profile or Almanac) of Hiker Hostle pick you up there.

amtrak to atlanta is about 100 bucks. allot more comfortable than the bus!

Peaks and coopdog got the right idea. Can't see sitting on a bus that long. Josh and Leigh are first rate also, A+++++ hostel and shuttle service.
