Panorama Resort in SNP

I realize that wikipedia pages may not always be correct/factual but i was wondering if anyone ("Skyline Jim") knows about this:

In July of 2006, Shenandoah Director Chas Cartwright announced that Panorama would be demolished, as costs had risen more than the park could afford.

When will this demolition happen & will the bathroom & parking lot remain asis at the Rt 211 and Skyline Dr intersection?

Can't help much with the direct question, but I was dissappointed this past summer when I hiked through to find out that the restaurant had been closed. Had a really nice meal there back in '96.

The posted signs suggested that it was going to be turned into some sort of museum and outreach center.
