    Default Company In The Smokies

I'm leaving Franklin (actually, Wayah Bald) tomorrow morning and plan to be in Fontana Dam by Thursday night. I was wondering if there's anybody in the area interested in doing a section hike through the smokies? I'll be going pretty fast (15 miles per day average, including zeroes). My goal is to make Hot Springs by the 17th.

Also, will I easily be able to find a ride/shuttle from Hot Springs to Greenville? I don't know the area or how far it is.

    Thanks,

    Mr. Happy

Greeneville, TN with an "e"? It shouldn't be too hard a hitch, it's only about 30 miles. Or better still, continue hiking another 15 miles to NC 208/TN 70 at Allen Gap and hitch from there.
