ITS been awhile since I have been over this stretch o trail and I didnt do the cave the last time i was there (nor when I did my thru). Can anyone tell me what to look for and how to access it? I will be up there March 31, coming from Pulpit Rock.

Each time out, I see that same ridge- only different.

I hike up there frequently from the game trail lot in Eckville. I heard some voices below the Pinnacle one day talking about the cave. I didn;t know if they were joking or there truly was one. How big/deep is it?

The big pile of rocks hand piled at the end of the "ranger road" if coming from Eckville. In front of the pile is the way to the caves. Go on a weekend whn college kids are available - their down there smoking and joking.

Is this the same one that has the entrance just beneath the over look. And then comes straight up like a chimney to the surface about 50 feet back. Me and my buddy were in that last May

Yes, that's the one. Great refuge from summer heat, just mind the Copperheads and Rattlers! (Not a problem in March)

Just follow the spraypaint. Approaching the viewpoint, there's a rock that says "secret entrance" pointing to the left, leading to a chimney-like hole. The more official entrance lies to the right, after a short scramble down the face of the rocks, with a message that says "venture" if I remember correctly.
