New River Relo?

I'm headed down to work on the Konorock trail crew this May. The project is the New River Relo. Anyone know what's up with this particular project? I'm really looking forward to getting into some full time trail work.

This will be my first trip on the trail in the South. I have my passport, does this Yankee need any other travel permits or vaccinations to travel down that way?

All I know from years of working on the trail in Maine, we never relocate rivers. It is much easier to relocate the trail. Happy digging and damming. Learn to love grits because if you are relocating a big river it could take years.
