    Default Sponsored Hikes?

I was wondering what the overall consensus was for "sponsored hikes." Does it make you look differently on organizations/people who sponsor hikers
i.e. more interested in the organization, or see them as hiker friendly...

If it's a corporation, gear manufacturer, etc. that is sponsoring someone, I look at it as advertising/P.R., period. This would neither make me feel more or less favorably about the sponsor. One can either repsond to advertising, or ignore it.

Max Power?..Did you get your name off of a hairdryer? ..I agree I would see it as advertising and wouldn`t have feelings one way or the other...No if a private citizen sponsored hikers that would be neat..If I hit the $263 Mil Mega-Millions jackpot tomorrow night I`ll create a trust to sponsor a number of peoples thru`s each year
Sometimes you can't hear them talk..Other times you can.
The same old cliches.."Is that a woman or a man?"
You always seem out-numbered..You don't dare make a stand.
