    Question Stoves/Fuel on planes

Are there any regulations about bringing your stove or fuel on a plane? Thanks, Chris

Fuel is not allowed on planes at all. I haven't had any problem putting a stove in checked luggage for several different trips. However, you may want to contact your individual airline to see if they have any regulations if you don't want to take a chance with it..

Many airlines do not allow stoves on planes, even new unused ones. Others allow unused ones. None allow fuel. We switched to an alcohol stove partly because of the transportation issue.
