Looking for a partner(s) to thru hike in may/june 2008

Hey everyone! I'm preparing for my first experience with the AT next year. I'm researching and getting input from experienced hikers abput what to expect and prepare for. I'd love to start out with a partner or two, as company is always fun to have and would be great on my first time hiking through. I'm a strong, steady hiker with speed! I would love to pair up with someone who has some in depth knowledge of outdoor survival skills and/or navigating, as i'd love to learn new skills and techniques! Anyone who stumbles across this and has any input or advice, PLEASE! send it my way as i am open to any suggestions!
