I enjoyed in your trail days essay how you describe the hiker Maté as "Liza Minnelli, only with more muscles". I hiked with her for a while and I miss the nightly concerts ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9W02iue21Y ).

the library will not let me access that page. hopefully a computer that was given to me a couple of months ago will work nicely today and then i can get the internet at home. i need it anyway for all the future hikers that will be coming thru my doors................
