Hiker Down

[Pacific Tortuga]

I'm not sure how many people met Letherneck (ret: Marine) thru-hiking this year. He went home with multi/fractures in his lumbar vertabre.

He had been hiking strong and just let his mind drift like we all do but paid the ultimate price, "Off The Trail" due to a fall.

Even if you do not know him it be nice to hear from the AT hiking community. You can find him in 2007 thru-hiker trailjournals.com Letherneck. Thanks, he's a good man.
