I did, but didn't like it. The some grounds always made it past that plastic rim. I ened up just making cowboy coffee and got rid of the other crap (coffee press).
Had the same problem as jg just go with cowboy and strain or coffee bags. BTW I made a perculator for the JB it worked fine.

Haven't tried it, I use this http://www.rei.com/product/638124
Lightweight, dependable, and easy to clean.
I use it everytime I go out. In fact I use it as my coffee pot when I go camping. It's easy to clean and makes enough coffee for both of us. It let's some grinds through but not enough where it becomes a problem.

wow the best is now better neo
As with any coffee press, it is best to grind your beans very coarse, this helps to keep them from coming through the screen. It is the only way i make coffee now and it is great. i bought the press that fits in the nalgene bottle and use it every morning on the trail.
i like vanilla biscotti coffee by folger's in mine neo
I love my jetboil. It is what it is and the best of them. Fast boiling water for all your needs. I recall heating chicken soup in howling winds and desperately uncomfortable situation and then having hot coffee. Life is good with fast hot water.
