    Default Snowbird water

I am thinking about hiking in the Snowbird Mountains in a few weeks. Anyone been out there? How is the water situation? The local news calls western North Carolina in that area an "exceptional drought" region.

There's water up there, confirmed by section hiker 3 days ago. We've also have had some good rain recently. Hope this helps

Thanks. I'm trying to plan a 3 day trip, don't want to die of heatstroke.

Good thinking. We just hiked Central/S. VA area, and water was very sparse--some stretches close to 20 miles were dry. Not so good with the temperatures as high as they are.
