While I am most active here, I also post on several other sites - hammock forum, SgtRock's site, Trail Journals, and few others once in a while.

I read, more than post, at Views From The Top:
    http://www.viewsfromthetop.com
and at Rock's site and Trailjournals.
The forum at Trailjournals is pretty useless, imo. YMMV.

As a New Englander, Views from the Top rocks!

Lately, I've been getting addicted to Indiamike.com (got a trip to Asia coming up is why). Not exactly hiking, but still adventure travel, something along the same lines. Haven't found an inhouse search engine anywhere near as awesome at WB's, though.

You can use Google to search any site. Just put site:whiteblaze.net or site:indiamike.com as one of your search terms. Some forums may not be included in search engines, but that's true here as well.

For instance, there are 232 instances of "toilet paper" on indiamike.com: http://tinyurl.com/362vu6

I'll sometime read other forums (trailjournals, trailplace, practicalbackpacking, etc.) but it's whiteblaze over 95% of the time. Whiteblaze is also the only one I actually post on.

I'm on forums.backpacker.com and thebackpacker.com actually more than here, both seem to have fairly active PA/NJ/MD/DC/NoVA representation among the posters and interest in not only the A.T. but other trails. Also neohbackpackingclub.com .

Mostly here but also at a new site, ustrailwalker.com It's only a matter of time before that one gets oversensitive and I leave. So here.

Your allowed to post on other sites? I thought we had a loyalty clause in the register contract we signed.
