    I hiked from my desk to my truck this morning pretty fast, as it was pouring.

    I hiked to the men's room at a pace of 7 MPH. Taco's last night.......
    For a couple of bucks, get a weird haircut and waste your life away Bryan Adams....

    There was no AT endurance record this year. Don Quixote had the shortest time that I know of this year (under three months).

    A new unsupported endurance record was set on the LT this summer by AT05 and PCT06 Jennifer Pharr. This marked the first time a long distance trail endurance record has been held by a woman.

    Shortly after Jennifer's accomplishment on the LT, AT thru-hiker Susan Johnson set the supported record (for both men and women) on the John Muir Trail.

    Two stunning achievements in the small but intense subculture of long distance trail endurance record hiking/running.
