    Default Golite Hex 3

To fuel my ongoing fantasies about buying a new tent...

Does anyone have one of these?

How hard is it to pitch?

If you've got the Nest, do you also use the floor?

Is it a good place to hole up in bad weather?

    How warm is it?

How does it react to wind?
    If not NOW, then WHEN?

    Default Golite Hex

    Hi Marta,
Just had the Hex out this past weekend, a great foul weather palace. Have been using the Hex for a few years now as my winter shelter of choice. Held up well in extreme winds, tested on the summit of mt Lafayette with 35-40 mph winds. Have had a foot plus of snow dumped on it with no ill effects. Holds in heat very well in extreme cold, have been using a stove inside, was easy to vent without floor or inner nest.
    Highly recommend this shelter
