This was GREAT comic in today's Sunday paper - 11/18.

It's in today's Sunday paper. At least it's always in our paper.

Then the 2003 hikers would have nothing to talk about!

The wettest year for thru hikers will be 2023. Guaranteed! 2021, 2022, and 2024 will be beautiful, sunny and cool, with just enough rain to keep the springs going.

Never does pay to piss the rain gods off. What really stinks is they've got one screwy sense of humor.

Poor Hagar....but snow is more fun for hiking. From what I have read and hikers I have talked to......1994 was quite a rainy year for hikers on the AT.

We called it a footbath in the wilderness.

Heh, heh... that's one benefit. Of course, not having to worry about water, is another.
