    Default Frogg Toggs

I FINALLY made my rain gear purchase and got some frogg toggs. One thing I wasn't thinking about when I bought them was what I was going to carry them in in/on my pack. I was wondering what if anything you carried them in and what size? Did you just stuff it in your pack when dry? I was picturing hangin' them from my pack when wet, in something. Thanks !

They dry out pretty quick.. I used an oven bag to keep some of my clothes in.. Frogg Toggs can tear up easily though.. I would not carry them on the outside of a pack, but you might want to put them where you can get to them relatively easy.. Some packs have webbed pockets on the outside that allow stuff to dry out.. Some people stuff their wet tents or tarps in there. Because wet stuff adds weight.. Several times I would strike camp and then later on in mid morning I would stop in a sunny place for a break and semi set my tent up to dry out for a bit, hang up wet clothes and take a half hour break or so and let the stuff dry out... Repack it, and the pack would be lighter...

I tuck them under straps on the back outside of my pack (GG Vapor Trail)

I carried mine in my pack in a large zip-lock bag. Of course I was hiking during the drought so never took them out!
