New member -- mea culpa if it's a dumb question: Has the water supply in Georgia been affected by this year's drought?

By all I've read, I think 2008 will be a good year to hike, w/ respect to water. Atlanta may be a different situation.

yes it has. I hiked the Coosa Backcountry Trail over Labor Day. Absolutly no water on the the last 8 miles of the hike. I am glad I brough extra water along. In early Febuaray I Hiked the Panther Creek Trail in the Cohutta. Had trouble trying to find places to cross streams. WEnt back to the same place in May, those streams were dry.

Got this from Max the other day: https://01ef580.netsolstores.com/ind...n=Custom&ID=15

He says the only one that is wrong is Springer as the water is flowing there too.
