I'm excited because I recently built my own website. In the coming weeks I'll be uploading hundreds of pics from my October 07 southbound end-to-end Long Trail hike. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Hey Jamie - I read your journal on crazyguy, loved your photography. Looking forward to exploring your new site.
Great web page! I will have to put it in the list that I regularly check.
You can't fix stupid....
Can't wait for more entries!!
Thanks for the compliments!
Yahtzee - JMT and Wonderland this summer? Say again? Dates? I'm still thinking Colorado Trail, but anything's a possibility.

Phenomenal page. I'm sending the link to my parents and girlfriend so they might begin to understand why I want to do this.
Thanks!
"Measure Four Times, Cut Twice"
bought my long trail map this morning, looking forward to seeing that. holding out for a 2008 e2enders guide. next month? maybe. its all your fault DuctTape after looking at your site how could we not hike the long trail.
I was looking at your album and especially the section I will be doing next month from the Lamoille to the Winooski. I loved that sequence of the snake swallowing the frog. That was incredible pictures, to catch them so close and be aware what you were viewing at such close range. I am really getting excited. I only hope I get better weather than what you experienced for the Sterling Range/Mansfield area. The only problem was that some videos I could not access.

Nice website, but your Goethe quote is mis-attributed. Only the couplet at the end is Goethe's. The beginning part, about commitment, was written by W. H. Murray of the 1852 Scottish Himalayan Expedition.

Thanks again for the comments, they mean a lot to me!
Quoddy I won't be on the CT this year after all, a better opportunity came my way. There's potential for a late summer JMT trip, though.
Frosty thanks for the correction, I'll have to fix it. Goethe DID seem to me a little too dated and foreign to write all that so eloquently in English.

What a great website!! I met a couple guys on the AT last month that have done the LT also. With everything I have heard, it is REALLY getting my interests up. Thanks for sharing!
HAPPY TRAILS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD HIKE!
Great photos DT. Super motivation for my E2E I'm planning for this season. Very much appreciate all the effort.
Hey, Duct Tape, I followed the link to your site from Mags' LT page. Nice photos, nice journal. Enjoyed it.
DT, I noticed in your photos that it was wet more often than dry. I have a Nikon S600 which is on the same frame as your 14. How did you manage to keep yours dry? I carry mine in a small 1010 Pelican but it's awful heavy. Did you use gaitors at all? If you did it again, would you still hike the same time frame. The fall foliage you caught was awesome. I have tenatively planned my SOBO begining in late August but might move it to late Sept after seeing your journal. Thanks again!!
