I just wanted to see how the strap was. I was thinking about removing the strap on my Tikka XP and using the head strap on the E light. Mostly for more room in my bag...

It has a slot 3/8 wide that the strap goes into. The e lite comes with a strap.
The batteries do not last very long and are 10$ to replace.

I was thinking of getting one and would like to hear how you like yours and what it weighs with the carry case. Thanks

    Slow, Slow, Slow...

Check out EBay, friend. Or your local Dollar store. I've found them 5 for a buck at mine. Or 100 for 7.95 on EBay. The one's in the blue/grey/white packaging are legit.

Critterman...Ditch the case. It comes in at a shade under an ounce without it and the case is useless...unless you're looking to also carry a Petzl-branded backwoods apertif glass.

Like I said...5 of those little nickle-sized batteries for a whole dollar.

But, since Florida's a ways from Roxborough here's another option.
