    Thumbs up AT Thru-hike; 3/30/08 from Springer north

    Planning a thru-hike beginning end of March. Male, 61, fit and healthy. After a couple/few weeks, I plan on logging in some high-teens miles-per-day, especially in lower elevations. Limited experience but have done 85 miles from Newfound Gap to Allen Gap last early October. Due to my later start, I will skip this section, and return in late September to complete, assuming successful to Katahdin. Men or women, no hidden agendas. I will respond to anyone who inquires.
