You answered your question in your title.
make sure u sink it. air pockets make it float in machine. good luck
And do NOT put it in the dryer!
You never turned around to see the frowns
On the jugglers and the clowns
When they all did tricks for you.
Best way is use a front loading washer at the laundromat if your washer at home is a top loader as most folks have. Then you don't have to worry about air pockets as mentioned above, they will leave a hard place in the tyvek. Cold water, no soap. Hang it to dry. One time should get it soft enough, if not do it again.
Remember this - - Even the best of friends cannot attend each other's funerals.
Also, watch those pockets when removing it from the washing machine. It is amazing how much water those pockets can hold.....you can ask my wife. I bet I "spilled" 2 or 3 gallons in the laundry room floor when I removed it from the washer....I would have thought the spin cycle would have removed the bulk of the water......nope not a chance.
Now this is a great idea! I had no idea this was even possible. Now I dont' have to sleep on top of a "chip bag" anymore!
