Diesel and Red Bull, Party Animal, McD, Yak and Fred were all seen by me at the NOC yesterday afternoon. Based on conversations at Cold Spring Shelter the night before last, Peach, Fuzz, Zephyr and Buzzard should have all made it there as well. As far as I know, none of them were moving on until today.

Saw "Me", Siloh, Aqua Marie, Tailgate, Mango and Canuck near Hughes Gap today. I fed them Girl Scout cookies. Saw another guy but he had his I-pod in and was tuned out.
Mango said she needs to get to the DC area Thurs. and plans to shuttle to a bus station from 19E.

Was down doing a section hike from Front Royal to I-70. Today when I left I had seen Double Cheese (who just started a Trailjournal), Transfat, Liquid, Trail Foot and Donkey Legs. They were all going to be ready to head into Pa early tomorrow. Unknown Hiker, Waterbear, and Stromingnorm were also in this area and will be hitting Pa by Friday. They all joined up and had a full shelter at the Ed Garvey shelter the night before last. All are doing well and moving steadily north.

I was doing a south bound section hike of New Jersey last week and passed Merlin and Willow with their dog at the NJ/NY line. They said they had started Feb 1. Also passed Leap just north of Delaware Water Gap at the Gren Anderson shelter. He was trying to finish by June 1 so he could go on a charity coast to coast bike ride.

    Default Pirate

Can anyone tell me if Pirate has clones. I see him so many different places and there is always somebody else saying they say him somewhere else.

Pirate often brings PaPa with him for Trail Days. Does anyone know if he will be bringing him this time?

Although it is raining at the moment, earlier today was great weather for hiking. It was cloudy and in the 70s. Saw the following hikers at various points in the vicinity of Moreland Gap Shelter, TN:

    Lucky Dog (pathielen - WB)
    Red Dog My Trailjournal
    Daniel (4/1)
    Thunder Thighs (4/1)
    Sauerkraut
    Pits
    Red
    Aries
    Bones (asimpson1983 - WB - 3/30)

Hope everyone was able to beat the rain (actually, it has already stopped, and at least it isn't cold).

    See you on the trail,

What about Team Hollywood or Nolan and Carlie?

Leap is in Kent, CT now. Looking like he'll finish on schedule! There are a few others ahead of him still. Trek? And I don't know who else.
