how big is each section on a Z-rest pad?
cause i've got a old blue pad that im thinking about cutting up and taping back together to make my own Z-rest type thing

20 inches by 5.14 inches (the fourteen sections add up to 72 inches).

After awhile that blue pad will get hard as a rock.

yea probobly i guess ill just leave it alone and roll it up in side the pack
