Thread: Games?

  1. #1

    Default Games?

So we have spent much of the last month in the woods practicing for the big walk coming up soon. One of the things that we've discovered is that besides the obvious that goes on after dark we don't know many card games for only two people. I am looking for suggestions of games to take up before we hit the trail?

    Cribbage, Pinochle, two-handed Spades.

It's good two-handed, 3 or 4 is better. Bring some poker chips you can play Hold-em.

    Dear Sir,
A challenge I presume? I am not one to falter. Though sadly I am not going that far north.

    non-card games:

pass the pigs - 2 light weight plastic pigs
Blisters (a dice game with 6 dice) - one of many possibilities
nine mens morris - simple draw it yourself board play with stick/stone pieces
checkers - a more complicated draw it yourself board with stick/stone pieces
backgammon - intermediate draw it yourself board with stick/stone pieces and 2 dice
--the draw it yourself boards can be on a sleep mat if desired
mumbly peg - a game played with a small knife

for the card game cribbage one can use a piece of closed cell foam with holes poked into it for the cribbage board
