It's alright to start on a rainy day.....it makes the sunny ones that much better!
Best of luck, and enjoy every moment!

See ya on the trail Chiefdaddy. I'll be catching my flight at 7:30 tonight.

Weather forecast looks pretty good. Looks like Tuesday will test out the water gear and our spirits.

With all that being said what time is most hikers leaving out? I will be at Am. State Park for the AT celebration and would like to go up and see some of the hikers off.

    Smile Weather website

I don't know if everyone has heard of this site but it is realy great! It has seven day forcasts for the whole trail. And by the whole trail I mean that is predicts weather for all of the shelters and summits and gaps and flats and everything. Check it out, it really helped me a lot in my planning:

Hike well everyone and be safe.

Good luck Chiefdaddy - don't forget to feed Chief some of those "weekend warrior" types for extra energy!

When you get into BMECC's section, leave me a note in the registers - I'll find it!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass - it's about learning how to dance in the rain!
