But I ain't never seen no nuts on a Grape! What in the world?)
My wife came home from the grocery store this past Saturday with a box. She said, "Hay I got something for you" and tossed me a box of Grape Nuts Trail Mix Crunch. Actually tastes pretty good.

I get the maple and brown sugar kind with almonds. Love it!!

We've always had our own "cerel." It's called oatmeal.
2 different hikers left boxes of that at my apartment this season......pretty yummy. Just a bit rough for my soft teeth

Really is pretty good - it powered me all the way to Mt. K last year.
I portioned it in ziplocks, added powdered milk & often added dried fruit - then just added water in the morning - little fuss, good energy & did not crush like flake cereals.
Try NICO/Pico(?) powdered milk in a yellow can -found in hispanic food sections - powdered whole milk, more calories & fat than Carnation. Taste better too.
This is one of the few foods I ate all the way up the trail and still choose to eat now - that and malt beverages.
that cereal is AWESOME!! we just opened our box a few days ago, and i was surprised, because im not a big fan of grape nuts.. but this mix was just perfect!
