Default History of the AT book.

I believe it was 2005 that I met a gentleman going by the name "AT addict". He was thru hiking and said he was writing a book on the history of the appalachian trail and its landmarks. Does anyone know what became of this hiker or his book. I met him at miss Janet's house in Erwin, TN. Are there any Books on this topic?

I know of one book that was written by Model T called Walking with the Ghost Whisperers. It's about the history, legend and lore that surrounds the AT. That's all I know of.

Cool, I'll pick it up on trail. I'd also like to know history of busted up stills on the AT.
